Atani KK announced that Akio Ohsawa has accepted his appointment as new member of Atani’s Board of Directors. Mr. Ohsawa has a very distinguished career in the Japanese pharmaceutical industry. Atani’s Mission
Atani’s mission is to improve outcomes for cancer patients in Japan by bringing novel cancer medications to this currently underserved market. By identifying, developing and commercializing these drugs, we aim to provide the Japanese medical community with broader therapeutic options, and their patients with access to the most effective cancer therapies.
Japan represents the second largest pharmaceutical market in the world with $60 billion USD in annual sales and a high prevalence of age-related diseases, with the incidence of cancer growing at the highest rate.
